Our Story

BDC Home Design was formed by Brian and Dara Carrick in 2022 with the purpose of providing the best custom home design services. It is our passion to use our creative and technical skills to design the best custom homes. Our team cares about each on of our customers, and our number one goal is ensuring that we provide the best customer service experience period. We understand that we are a big investment and often the first investment in your dream home design and you can rest assured that we will answer your phone calls, respond to your messages and emails, and we will communicate with you every step of the way. We want our customers to love every aspect of working with us.

We also recognize that we are a part of a team that includes the builder, engineer, sub-contractors, and interior designers. We will always play fair, and will never do anything that harms a team dynamic.

We use the latest in design technology to create accurate construction documents that builders love, we also provide high quality 3D renderings, and we can show you your full home in full scale using Virtual Reality.

What started as an idea has grown into a successful company, we are making out mark on the architecture and design industry in Utah and surrounding states. We will have multiple homes in coming years showcased in various parades of homes, with our first parade home currently under construction for the 2026 Utah Valley Parade of Homes, and our Second home in the 2026 Salt lake Parade of Homes. We strive to find innovative, fresh, and current design styles and layouts to meet our clients needs and to provide them with compelling designs of the highest quality.
